- What is Meerkat Teams?
- Meerkat Teams gives a group one shared "shelf" where the proven, blessed version of a prompt lives once. Instead of every teammate rebuilding the same brief from scratch, the winning prompt is vetted by an admin, searchable in seconds, and pulled by everyone — one source of truth for the whole team.
- How much does Meerkat Teams cost?
- Teams is billed per seat: $19/seat per month, or $15/seat billed annually. On your own, Meerkat is free — Teams is the upgrade you grow into, and you only start paying the day you bring your first teammate in. Every seat includes the full Pro experience plus the shared library and governance.
- What does it mean for a prompt to be “blessed”?
- A blessed prompt is one an admin has reviewed and marked as the team-approved version. Blessing is how a shared shelf stays trustworthy: anyone can propose a prompt, but only blessed ones are signalled as the vetted answer the whole team should pull from.
- How are roles and permissions handled?
- Teams has three roles — owner, admin, and member. Owners and admins can invite people, manage seats, and bless prompts; members can use the shared library and propose prompts. Authorization is enforced on every action, not just hidden in the UI.
- What happens to team prompts if someone leaves?
- They stay. The shared shelf belongs to the team, not the person — remove a seat and every blessed prompt stays exactly where it is.
- Can I set Teams up before I pay?
- Yes. You can stand up the shared shelf and prove its prompts on your own, for free — so the team has somewhere worth landing on day one. Billing only kicks in the day you bring your first teammate in, and you can cancel anytime.
- Is Teams separate from a personal Pro plan?
- Yes. Teams is billed to the team on its own per-seat subscription and doesn't touch your personal plan. Each seat already includes Pro for that person, so nobody pays twice.
