What to include when you write in
To help us help you faster, the magic four:
- What you were trying to do— “build a cold-email prompt”, “refactor the audit prompt”, “save my library”.
- What happened instead — error message, stuck spinner, weird output, surprise charge.
- Where — Meerkat website, ChatGPT App, Claude connector, mobile, desktop.
- When — rough timestamp helps us pull the right server logs.
A screenshot is worth ten paragraphs. Drag it into the email.
Common questions
Before you write in, a few things we get asked a lot:
- Is Meerkat free? Yes — the builder, the templates, and short chat sessions are free. Sign in (also free) for unlimited chat and a saved library.
- Do you use my prompts to train AI? No. Your prompts go to OpenAI's API to generate responses; OpenAI's API data policy excludes training. We never train models on your content.
- Can you delete my account? Yes — email us and we'll erase everything within 30 days, usually within 48 hours.
- Can I use Meerkat for client work? Absolutely. The prompts you build are yours.
- Where's the ChatGPT App? In review. We'll announce when it's live in the directory.
Bug reports & feature requests
Both very welcome. Same email — please mark the subject [bug] or [idea] so we can sort them. Specifics help: what you expected vs. what you got, what would make it better, what you wish existed.
