Common questions.
- Is the free tier really lifetime?
- Yes. Ten specimens, no expiry. We never delete free saves and we never reset the cap monthly — it’s a real shelf, not a trial.
- What happens to my saves if I cancel Hobbyist?
- They stay on your shelf. We’ll let you read and export everything. Saving new specimens is paused until you’re back under ten or resubscribe.
- Can I switch monthly to yearly later?
- Yes — the Stripe billing portal handles plan swaps. We prorate the charge so you don’t pay for overlap.
- Refunds?
- Reach out through our contact form within 14 days of a charge if Hobbyist isn’t for you. We refund cleanly.
